Another great one love that you talk about seaglass. It’s a scrumptious word and feels so nice to touch.

Why not enjoy some meditation music I created? Let me know if you enjoy! ❤️🧧😊HNY remember keep writing your way to US and you will make it. I’m not a great writer but I know one when I see it

This relates to my own experience right now. Trying to find some kind of place in society, but one ends up faced with the sort of Catch-22s that left one feeling alienated in the first place. In order to get a job where I live you pretty much need a car and a phone, but you can't get a car and a phone unless you have a job. Sometimes one is just an outcast because one is an outcast.

Wow! Thank you for sharing your experience with me. If I may ask, where do you stay?

I live in a remote small town in Canada.

The day you walk out of that door, give a loud hoot. You will find many carefree gypsies including me willing to form a caravan covering distances far and wide in an unplanned way leaving room for adventure and uncertainities to seep in. :-)

We all feel like that sometimes but one thing is for sure. Your words don’t ’mean nothing.’

I want the river that never shuts up. It’s fresh. It’s visceral. That’s the poem’s payoff.

Beautiful poem. It resonates with me as I sit here at work, reading poetry on my laptop, trying to think about anything but work. :)

God Salil! How was your experience at boarding school? Ever since I read Malory Towers I wanted my mom to send me off to the hills to study in a boarding school!

We'll do a podcast some day hahaha.

I mean it just build you from ground up -- staying alone, friends around, no parents. Communicate to your parents via letters. 9 months in school and 3 months home, you can't relate to day school going students, you also feel you are better than everyone haha.

Hahaha I'll take you up on it!

Many of us live like that in our 20s. The lucky ones like me see clearly the scam and get off the bus. But no one's coming to anyone's rescue. You have to follow that inner prompting.

Your poem so very much reminds me of myself through my 20s. I had no idea then, of course, but my angst, my yearning, my dreams, were what made me who I am today. And I like who I am! 😊

I enjoy being part of your world, Mohika. Thank you, and thanks for sharing my work. That’s so awesome of you! 🙏💚

I love that you can look back on your 20s with such clarity and self-appreciation 😊 I’m SOOOO glad to have you in my little corner of the world! It’s a joy to share your work—it truly speaks to me, and I’m happy others get to experience it too! Thank you for being so kind and for walking this path with me 🙏

I understand this feeling so well! Thank you for sharing!

I recently wrote a poem about the Golden Handcuffs, that expresses the same theme. Hope it speaks to you. And if you’re up for more discussion, I’m all up for it. You’re def not alone in this journey <3

Beautifully written Mo and ugh, I feel this every time I'm sitting in the office. I want to feel the cool grass beneath my feet and smell that salty air by the sea. Instead, I'm listening to the grind of our very old coffee machine and the unrhythmic typing from my colleague. We push on anyway. Thank you for sharing my work too, how kind of you. x
