I'll enjoy those sparks of light! These were wonderful considerations on living, Mo. Most enjoyed! I especially love the advice of your father. Such a wonderful way to look at moving forward! Bless you for the sharing, my friend.
"If someone trashes their small-town life the second they move to a big city... can (we) trust them"? Oh gosh, I have met so many like that! Being an international student, I meet many Indians (or Bharatiyas, whatever you prefer) who are quick to bash Bharat (or India) in an attempt to (for the lack of a better phrase) fit in. Initially, as an SSB-reject, I would defend my Motherland. But such people would then disgustingly resort to rubbing stories of rape in your face to (I guess) prove their point. Of course India's got her problems, but so does Uncle Sam, and the 195+ other odd nations in this big, wide world. I can say that I learnt not to "argue with people who love arguing" the hard way!
"Love doesn’t shame roots" hit deep, and Vridhi’s story is proof that slow, steady love for what you do really adds up. I respect her even more now! It feels so good to admire strong, genuine, and hardworking people. Also, congratulations on the hard work that is paying off. Purple Potato is shining, and it’s so well deserved!
