Sometimes, the spark is a bowl of blueberries, their matte skins hiding pools of indigo ink. They burst on the tongue with a tartness that wakes the senses. Or maybe it’s the green of a lime, sliced thin, its scent so alive it feels like a gasp, pulling you back to the surface of yourself.
I’m a hoarder of the little knots of wisdom life keeps passing me. They collect in the sieve of my subconscious. I’d like to share them with you, not because they’re so wise & profound, but because I think they are good thought-starters.
Tiny anchors when your day’s a slippery fish:
Don’t argue with people who love arguing. Omg, have you ever met those people who just live to argue?? Like that one uncle at weddings who picks apart everything—yes, even the food. I mean, I’m not perfect, and if I’m in a mood, I might bite back, but I’ve started asking myself, “Is this helping me grow or just ruining my peace?” And yeah, 99% of the time, it’s the second one. So I’m learning to drop it and go eat dessert instead.
Love doesn’t shame roots. If someone trashes their small-town life the second they move to a big city, ummm, can you even trust them to stay loyal? Real love—whether it’s for a person, a passion, or a place—never makes you feel less than. Period.
You know how the house-help listens to all your dramatic rants without judging? And then there’s that one person who interrupts every two seconds with, “I already know that.” Yeah. Which one do you wanna be? Because real listening is about wisdom, not winning.
Love your work. Imagine loving your work so much that Mondays are actually fun?! (Okay, I personally have a love-hate thing going on with what I do, so maybe don’t take career advice from me lol.) But I do get the magic of loving what pays your bills so much that you actually miss it when you’re on a break?!? Like, how do we unlock that?
If life feels like a fog, keep walking. My dad always says, “Mo, headlights don’t show the whole road, just a few meters ahead—but that’s enough to keep going.” And honestly? It’s true. So what’s one tiny step you can take today to clear the fog?
Ever had a convo with someone from another country and realized your world is so much smaller than you thought? Their stories, their food, their little everyday habits—it’s like unlocking a whole new level of life.
What’s one tiny anchor you hold onto when things feel wobbly? 💌
You know when my sister started making money from her dancing, she saved every rupee to buy the latest iPhone. She also needed good quality videos. It wasn’t bells & whistles because her peers had the latest technology. It was slow, but that grind set her up for life. I do believe our desires don’t need to have additional uses attached to them. We can want things “just because”. I’d like to reach a place where I can decide that for myself.
What’s something you’ve worked hard for that paid off?
I love you!
See you next Wednesday 🧡

Sinking & Rising
We were running late, as usual. Barefoot, feeling the grime of the city stick to our feet. Rats the size of small dogs scuttling around, hungry for anything they could find. Our heels kicked up the dust, faster, faster—don’t let them catch you.
"Love doesn’t shame roots" hit deep, and Vridhi’s story is proof that slow, steady love for what you do really adds up. I respect her even more now! It feels so good to admire strong, genuine, and hardworking people. Also, congratulations on the hard work that is paying off. Purple Potato is shining, and it’s so well deserved!
I'll enjoy those sparks of light! These were wonderful considerations on living, Mo. Most enjoyed! I especially love the advice of your father. Such a wonderful way to look at moving forward! Bless you for the sharing, my friend.
Many blessings and MUCH LOVE,
~Wendy💜
