I’m Mohika, but you can call me Mo.

I lead business operations for Purple Potato, a slow fashion brand in India.

In the last few years, I’ve summited three mountains and written over a thousand poems. I find inspiration everywhere: in the depths of oceans, the lushness of rainforests, the mysteries of caves, and the sweetness of fruits. Writing is my way of making sense of the world and connecting with others. I write about love, the relationships we have with one another, and sometimes, even the spiders that find their way into my sofa.

Family is incredibly important to me. I’m my grandmother's favorite, and her wisdom and love shape much of who I am today. I believe in nurturing relationships and finding beauty in the everyday moments we share with those we love.

Outside of my work and writing, I practice minimalism and yoga, both of which help me stay grounded and focused. I’ve found that the more I take care of myself, the better my writing becomes and the richer my human interactions are.

I’m a cat lover without a cat.

Maybe we met at a house party and I casually mentioned my newsletter. Or perhaps you've been following my page on Instagram and something I shared piqued your curiosity. More likely, in the vast ocean of newsletters on Substack, mine surfaced upon the very shore of your eyes - and you picked me.

I write about whatever sparks my interest in the moment. My writing evolves with me, reflecting my inner thoughts and experiences. It's a personal journey, and for those who read it, they get a glimpse into the inner world of a do-it-all gal, complete with its ups and downs.
