This was so lovely to read. Your descriptions are so beautiful, and it made me feel like I was there with you on the trip. I almost feel like it would be a part of a bigger story or a novel the way it is written out and also listening to you, narrating it added to the experience!
I love this song as well. It might be even my fight song? I was very young when it first came out and it reminds me of the strength of innocent days☺️
music connects us alllll nadia! I'm so happy you enjoyed this experience. Hmmmm, now that you've said it, maybe I could work on a story plot inspired by this!!! Thank you again!
The unassuming moments of life are such a joy. The skies are overcast here and this brought much needed warmth. Great that I stumbled upon Mo's Magazine :)
Oh, Mo! Thank you for this! Your experiences, and your wonderful posts about them, well up my heart with JOY and it spills out through the smile on my face! Yes, love those everyday times! They can be most precious, can't they?! Especially moved by this last line of pure knowing- "Life is like that, a mix of past and present, of memories and dreams." Much love ~Wendy
The title of your article says it all, dear Mohika, and I love it! I spent many, many years of my life convinced that I could figure out how to control everything in my life and that way of thinking was not only futile, it left me deeply burned out and resentful. There is so much freedom in surrendering and it's an ongoing practice. Thank you for taking us along on your trip! I really enjoyed getting a glimpse into your time with your family and I hope to meet you one day in person somewhere in this beautiful world. Until then, keep sharing, keep shining, and keep growing. A deep bow and a lotus for you 🙏🪷🩵
What a blessed day that will be, Mohika, when we connect in person! I would absolutely love to share the beauty and magic of Jamaica with you and I've always wanted to go to India so maybe we will even meet there, too! We will just surrender our desire to connect to the universe and trust that it will happen in perfect and divine timing. 🙏🪷🩵✨🌈
Lovely Mo. Also your essay is lovely. Regarding control, what controls the sun rise or an earthquake or my hair to grow? Who is that, who believes that can control a part of the universe? where does this begins and ends? 🤔 I think I'll prepare a chamomile tea to think about that... oh... I ran out of chamomile...
And for fight song, now comes to my mind this one. The lyrics sing about accepting what life brings... as it is... it's a religious ancient tibetan mantra... listen...
There’s a surrender in accepting what we can’t control, and perhaps that’s where true peace lies. I’m sorry to hear you’re out of chamomile—hopefully, you can replenish soon and enjoy a moment of stillness with your tea. And thank you for sharing this mantra, I can't wait to find a quiet moment and play it! We’re all shining together in our own way. 🌟
Actually, I think the more you try to control life’s outcomes, the more it flips you off. I really needed to hear that the moment I read it. My favorite Natasha Bedingfield is “Unwritten.❤️🫠

Deanna! You're so right about surrendering 🧡🌟 Going against the grain is abrasive for skin, & even then soul! I'll meet you in Jamaica!!!!

Thank you, Mo. I trust you enjoyed your trip?
Paul I had a blast! We celebrated my sister's 22nd birthday with song and dance 💐
Some times a little family getaway is all you need. Enjoy your holiday, Mo.
Thank you Harun! Home is where the heart is 🧡🌟

Take care, dear Forrest
hey I was joking about the mantra... it's not Tibetan 😜 but the lyrics are quite a message...
