Meditation has not worked for me. But walking in the nature always does. It's so soothing. Also, journaling.

It used to be playing the piano, wrong notes and all, these days it is probably a wander around the garden. I’m not one for yoga and I probably don’t exercise enough, but you are right about the breathing, it is not only to release stress but it is good for your health. I don’t think many people realise that they don’t breathe correctly.

Yeah! Many times during the day I catch myself taking less than half breaths!! And what a wake up call that is to inhale and exhale fully and peacefully

Refreshing words. If I need to calm down and relax I make a cup of tea and find one of those buying + selling antiques/old tat tv shows to watch. That calms me down and I can admire the beautiful things and grimace at the ridiculous old junk that some chancer hopes to get a ridiculous amount of money for!

No,you were right first time,I counted from the day I posted on. I'm a Pisces! A bit fishy. I dont believe in astrology + such but the image of two fish swimming in opposite directions is very appropriate for me. I'm not totally happy about it. It's not always good to be able to see both sides of an issue clearly,so I've learned to take the side that is most fortunate for me and pretend I don't 'get' the other side. I know that sounds calculating but I've learned the hard way that often when people say "see it from my point of view" they really mean, capitulate utterly, give up everything and let me take it all". Theres a warning from an old woman,😅,I'm sure that sort of thing won't occur a lot in your life ,it hasn't really in mine, but it's worth bearing in mind if there's an issue!

I've been trying to be more consistent with journaling (who am I kidding, I've never written for more than 5 entries in my journal, so far). This year, I've written more than 15 entries - this feels like an achievement.

I've been feeling stuck for the past two weeks and reading this post made me realise - hey! the entries don't have to be all about how my day went - it could be about anything!

Funny how you can overlook small things!

Oh and as usual - really nice article. Wednesday morning ritual going strong for me :)
