Ahhh, this is the BEST, Mo! Big HUGS to you and your sister! The road of sisterhood is precious, though it can also be brutal, yet we LOVE them no matter a smooth road or full of bumps! Thank you for this wonderful visit and peek into your world together! LOVE IT!
Hi Mo! I had to reread your post again! I guess I just needed a friend right now! I haven't been feeling well lately and now I have a chest cold, coughing, and everything else! And Teddy disappeared again! Well, I hope you had a nice Christmas and a Happy New Year! I can't wait until Spring! Flowers will be blooming, birds will be singing and maybe I'll be able to take walks around the blocks! It's really too cold to go outside and it's supposed to snow on Monday! Well, see you later Alligator! Connie
It's eleven degrees in Gurgaon and that's COLD ❄️🥶 for us hahaha! Can't imagine going out in snow no matter how gorgeous everything looks!!!! ❤️ Maybe I'll come around ✨
I'm still coughing, blowing my nose and still have some diarrhea! I went to Urgent Care on Sunday and got some scripts. I finally got my cough syrup even though my insurance didn't cover it! I am going to try to do some house cleaning today! I stripped my bed this morning and of course Teddy helped me! I couldn't take the sheets off at first. I had to wait until Teddy got out of bed But as soon as I put the clean sheets on, Teddy was back in bed! I think he went back upstairs to bed! See you later. Connie
Love your words. And love that you point out that living with, sharing space, can have annoyance and conflict in it as well, this I think applies to romantic/ love/ partnerships as well. I was my Mums carer in her last 10 years,Mum left us for other dimensions aged 91 + it felt like a privilege to be doing, well in our western society we are guided to despise laundry, cooking, cleaning, and as for ( sorry) wiping bums, that's for migrant workers and those of low status and IQ. ITS NOT but that's the NARRATIVE. But actually caring for someone close to to you is the highest privilege. Another form of sharing space. You are both two lovely girls.
I agree with every single word you just wrote and I feel blessed to have a community on Substack with someone like you. To love and care is to be in complete devotion and service towards the people you say you love and care. Sorry to hear about you mum and I already know how blessed she was to have a daughter like you. My dad did the same for my grandfather the last five years of his life. Everything from changing pee pads, cleaning, shaving, feeding and the works. He had Parkinson's Plus and departed at the young age of 89, finally free from the physical body.
Love this. Having a sibling who has your back is a superpower no question. Plus Jugalbandi is my new favourite word of 2025 (I’m remembering Srinivas and John McLaughlin now who I saw play together once).
Lastly - what a portrait to start the new year with, a
Lovely moments get in drive on loong confidence be time inner deep learn to ups in drive slowly deep

If you two were any cuter, they’d call the cute carabinieri to come on the cuter scooter 🛵🛵😊
Haha that made me chuckle!
