Day 30/31: Year End Journaling
This daily journaling has been such a gift.
A reason to notice.
A small promise I kept to myself even on tired days.
I liked showing up here without polish.
Some days with clarity, some days with crumbs of thought,
some days with nothing but a line and a feeling.
As January approaches, I know this rhythm will change.
I’m stepping into a new role, in a new city —
one that asks for full presence, full energy, full days.
And I want to give it that, honestly.
So I won’t be resuming regular posting in January.
Not because this space isn’t important,
but because it’s important enough to return to with intention.
Never say never, though.
A poem is always an easy respite on stressful evenings,
a small pick-me-up when the world feels loud.
Words have a way of sneaking back in.
For now, I’m grateful.
For you reading.
For me writing.
